Sometimes you know you're in for a busy couple of months. We have so many changes coming our way. All extremely positive and exciting, but it's a little overwhelming to think about, and if I were to write it all down, I think I may run away screaming. I love the A Beautiful Mess blog and I get so much inspiration from there, their latest post is about planning mini achievable goals, and this is something that I know will get me through these busy months.
1. Star planning // whenever I make lists I always seem to achieve much more, the problem is getting around to writing them, I can be quite disorganised, but not in 2014! It will be my year of organisation, so I might as well get some practice and start now.
2. Make Improvements to my Business // Fawna Vintage is something I want to be able to depend on, business needs growth and I constantly need to be ontop of things and coming up with fresh and new ideas. I need to spend less time going 'why' and more time 'acting'
3. Bake and Be Happy // I'm a perfectionist in the kitchen, it's hard, because baking takes lots and lots of fails before you win. I need to learn to be happy if it doesn't look or taste perfect the first time around, suck it up, and try again. I can't wait to share some of my recipes here.
4. Think Positively Everyday // I keep telling myself, it WILL all come together, and It will, I just need to keep reminding myself that the chaos will lead us both onto bigger and better things!
These 4 goals don't exactly have a specific end goal, I don't have to plan a certain amount of things, I just have to learn and try to plan some things, I don't have to bake 40 cakes before New Years Day, I just have to bake - and be happy with what I bake. It's positive and encouraging and I love that! You should make 4 simple goals too!
